- Purdue Habitat
Each Saturday, Purdue Habitat works to build homes in Lafayette as well as other surrounding communities. Over university holidays, we work at sites all around the country. Habitat construction is always an experience where you will meet lots of new people, learn about construction, and have an unbelievably fun time! The best part is that it's open to all students at Purdue and you don't even need to know the first thing about swinging a hammer. At Purdue Habitat we have much more than just construction. Committees including Education/Awareness, Fundraising, Affiliate Outreach, as well as Social are as important to us as the construction itself because they make our organization function and provide a really fun way for everyone to get involved.
