Cover Indiana Bicycle Tour

ATTENTION CYCLISTS!
Start training now for the 2010 Cover Indiana Bicycle Tour: Monday, May 10 - Sunday, May 16

The Excitement is Building!

This May more than 150 bicycle riders will participate in the 7th annual Cover Indiana Bike Tour. They will enjoy the beauty of spring’s first flowers, the
majesty of the Wabash River and the pride of our Hoosier communities. They will enjoy a route planned by one of Indiana’s foremost cycling
authorities and experience a unique level of fellowship. Cover Indiana bicycle riders won’t just be taking in natural beauty and native hospitality
that Indiana offers, they will also be leaving something behind. Simply by riding through our cities and towns, riders will increase awareness
of the mission of Habitat for Humanity, and of the progress our independent affiliates are making towards ending poverty housing.

We invite you to join us in a ride that will not just lift your spirits, but will help Habitat for Humanity raise many walls that will become
homes for fellow Hoosiers. You will help us in our mission to ensure that every man, woman, and child has a decent place to sleep at
night!

Could there a better way to spend a spring week? Join us for one day, three days or the entire event!

Routes: We will ride on lightly traveled and paved Hoosier back roads. Starting in Lafayette, IN and ending in downtown Indianapolis. Each day we will cover approximately 50 to 60 miles, with the first and last days being somewhar shorter riders. Each day's route will be clearly marked and supported so that you can ride at your own pace.

Over Night Locations: Crawfordville, Terre Haute, Linton, Bedford, Bloomington, and Plainfield.

Food & Accommodations: Each night indoor sleeping bag space will be available. Breakfast and dinner will be provided for each rider courtesy of the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.

Riding Jersey: If you register by March 1st for the seven day tour you will receive a cycling jersey created especially for this event.

Equipment: You will need a multi-speed bike in good working condition, a helmet, clothing for riding (rain or shine), a sleeping bag, and appropriate luggage.

Transportation: Transportation back to the start location will also be availaber for only $35. Be sure to include this amount in your registration fee.

Cost:
7-Day Tour: If riding for the full week, the registration fee for each rider is $250, plus a minimum donation of $350 to be raised by each rider. You can designate your donation to the Habitat affiliate of your choice.

Optional Day Riders:
If you would like to participate in the 2009 Cover Indiana Bike Tour but cannot commit to the full week then select a shorter route. You can choose to join the tour for just a day, two days, or even three days. No matter what the registration cost is $50 per day. If you ride only a day, no minimum fund raising is required.
