Lafayette Catholic Churches Join to Build Home
Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette and the local Catholic Church parishes are once again joining together to build a home for a Habitat Partner family on Summerfield Drive in Lafayette. Sponsorship of the house is $50,000. When complete, the home will be sold to the family with a no-interest loan. Please consider supporting one of the parish teams to meet our fundraising goal! Cover Indiana Bike Tour: May 6-12
Each spring, for the past 9 years, riders from all over the Midwest have hit the pavement of Indiana’s back roads on their bicycles to raise money and awareness for the mission of Habitat for Humanity in Indiana. Forging a New Future in Haiti
Doug Taylor, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette, is currently on leave in Haiti working for Habitat for Humanity International in providing homes in the Santo project in Leogane. He will return to Lafayette after an 18-month stint in the earthquake-ravaged country. HFHL Assists 155 Haitian Families move into new homes
Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette's own Doug Taylor has been instrumental in helping these families in Haiti over the last 16 months.
