2008 T-shirt Design Contest

"Hammer out Poverty"

Who can participate?
Children Ages 12 and under. One submission per child.

Judging and how to submit your design:
Entries will be judged by creativity and relevance to the 2008 “Hammer out Poverty” theme.

All entries should be submitted on the entry form provided. Designs should NOT include any dates or the full verse listed above (this is for guidance only). Please drop off or send entries to:

All entries must be submitted to the Habitat office by 5pm on Tuesday, April 15th. Contest judging will be done by the Habitat Staff. Remaining entries may be used for other purposes at Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette (e.g. Habitat cards or calendars).

Prizes:
Top 10 entries may be recognized on the Habitat website

Grand Prize Winner:
1. Design will be used on the 2008 “Hammer out Poverty” t-shirts
2. Will receive 3 free t-shirts
3. Will have the opportunity to cut the ribbon on a Habitat House during its house blessing
4. May present guest speaker with a t-shirt at a Habitat event in 2008

1st Runner-up:
1. Will receive 2 free t-shirts
2. Will have the opportunity to cut the ribbon on a Habitat House during its house blessing

2nd Runner-up will:
1. Receive 1 free t-shirt

T-shirts will be sold the beginning of May.
