Builders’ Blitz Builds Three Lafayette Homes
Local Builders are working togetehr to build three Habitat homes in Lafayette. BAGL (Builders Association of Greater Lafayette) is building a home for Habitat for Humanity on 1700 Wilson Street.
Grant Giese, President of BAGL and CEO of Green Goose Homes, said, “We have a long standing relationship with Habitat for Humanity and are thrilled to once again help a local family achieve homeownership. These blitz builds are a fun, easy way for us to do our part in the community and build camaraderie as an association. “
Various members of BAGL will be donating services and gifts in kind to make the build possible, including Henry Poor, VonTobel, Norandex, Haan Plumbing, G.W. Berkheimer, Andrews Enterprises, JD Electrical, Steve’s Overhead Door, Totally Foam, Rose & Walker, Blackburn Drywall, Rain Master Guttering, Halstead Drywall, Garrity’s Painting, Sims-Lohman, Spire Group, JD Electrical, The Lighting Studio, Home Works, Rose Walker, and Green Goose Homes. The BAGL home for Habitat for Humanity will also be part of the BAGL Parade of Homes.
T.J. Jenney, Director of Development for Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette said, “We appreciate so much the participation of all the builders of BAGL who are working together to make this home a reality for a family in need.”
The Habitat for Humanity Builders Blitz Builds are an opportunity for professional builders to participate in building homes for Habitat for Humanity.
